I did a lot of research before buying this lithium ion battery-powered drill. It is well balanced, easy to control, and has the muscle to drive just about any screw into anything and do it for a long, long time on each battery. I have found that two 1.5 amp-hour batteries are better than one 3.0 amp-hour battery in that the smaller battery is much lighter; and if you are working with the drill all day long, you will appreciate not having to carry around the extra weight. The 1.5 ah battery charges in less than half an hour (not in 15 minutes as claimed), so you are always ready to go.
However, there are a few minor cons or do-dads missing. 1)No drill bit holder (You can install one yourself...I prefer a magnet.) 2)The kit comes with a useless flashlight ... a waste which could lower the price of the drill. 3)No battery meter, but I never had one on any other drill. 4)Comes with a belt holder, which I wouldn't trust on a belt, but might come in handy if you want to hang the drill on the wall. It gets in the way, so I took it off. 5) No level (Who cares.)If you cannot drill straight and plumb, then hire a carpenter.) 6)Oh, yes...the case. I've seen designer luggage constructed and looking more cheaply than this one does...another waste. Thankfully, it is recyclable.
I wish i had found this web site earlier and saved some money.
